However, the Bisons were only a part of the league for 38 days as they soon became the Tri-Cities Blackhawks. Later, there were more changes as the team converted to the Milwaukee Hawks in 1951, the St. Louis Hawks in 1955, and finally the Atlanta Hawks in 1968.
