Artist's Description
A vintage blueprint-style document from the United States Patent Office showcases a design for a radio with the designation Des. 173,961, patented February 1, 1965. It features a front view labelled "Fig. 1" of the radio with a speaker grid, two control knobs, and small standing legs, as well as side and bottom views labelled "Fig. 2" and "Fig. 3" that give a sense of the object's depth and base design. The patent is credited to John W. Mason of Detroit, Michigan, assigned to Admiral Corporation, a business incorporated in Delaware.
